Beach treasures, how it's made
Egmond aan Zee is a wonderful place to live, and of course, you'll find yourself strolling along the beach every day. There's nothing better than browsing for beautiful beach treasures like cockles, starfish, and crab claws.
Jasca took the most beautiful treasures and made molds from them. The starfish had to be dried first. Jasca makes several molds of each shell or star in different sizes.
The molds are filled with hot wax to form wax models.
These wax models are then cast in silver or gold.
Jasca then combines the different parts into a beautiful ring, earring or pendant.
Finally, Jasca will finish the piece of jewelry by polishing it
